The Official "Next Fest" Idea Submission Thread

A REMAKE of a Hollywood movie fest.

Take a well known film, "Forrest Gump" "Platoon" "Casablanca" and do our own twist and take on it, using the same title of the film, same characters and situation but in 6 minutes to tell the whole story.

Hollywood remakes films all the time, let's give it a go.

ImprovFest - can only work from a loose outline and collection of locations everything else must be improvised.

Point Break Fest. You have to reshoot Point Break scene for scene without changing a single line of dialog.
 
People have suggested "Swede-Fest" Before. Would be fun, but ultimately useless to the filmmakers. I usually like to come out of these with something that will serve me after the fest.

Yes.. there was a SciFest. We need some original ideas....like.... DrunkFest.
Story could be about anything, but one of the main characters has to be drunk. :beer:
