Working on the script. The premise is down. Working the details. I am writing and rewriting. I am really trying hard to make a great story. I believe I am on the right track. Listeneing hard to the folks I am trusting with taking peeks at what I am doing. They are giving me great advice.

First draft complete. Now the all important re-writes and nit picking!

I am trying to find locations. This will be a little harder for me. I have a few in mind for the police station, gotta see if it will totaly suit my needs and then secure the place for use. I have a bar that I will be able to use. A nifty little joint called Gregory's in downtown Dayton that my wife and I like to go chill out at. (The owner Matt makes a fantastic martinii !) I will use my own place for a short but crucial scene at the begining of the film. That leaves a few outside shots that will be critical to shoot correctly (and legally?) so that I do not freak anyone out or get the police called on us. That leaves a church scene that will not be an issue.

hmmm now normally i would ignore something such as this but it's to good of a question to pass up. i am a hge fan of the tv series supernatural and in the most recent episode one of the characters said the line "the devil's in the details." i was just curious if that's where you got it from.

No, I have never seen that show. I'll have to check it out. That is a line one of my characters says though! Weird coincidence though......
This film has nothing supernatural or science fictiony to it.
 
lol i see. well i look forward to checking out the flick. i definitely recommend supernatural its like the best show on tv in my opinion.

I am at work and about to head home to the family for some fun. A buddy of mine has a birthday today so we are going to celebrate that as well. You guys have a great Thanksgiving....stop and think about some of the awesome things that you have to be thankful for this year. I know I am!

I don't want to spoil it for anyone buuutt...someone will commit a big act of betrayal in this film.....I think that this is going to be really fun. This theme above all the others I have watched (and the one I have participated in) seems to have the most potential to "level" the playing feild so to speak. The "oooo, never saw that coming"'s will be few and far between so everyone will really have to have a beefy story to do this right. I excited.
