The ego cards on Amazon look pretty tempting
Yep, none of the other cards mention it. Not confidence building. The C300 MKII is only 410 Mbps, the Cinema RAW Light is 1 Gbps. Entirely possible that cards that will work on the C300 MKII will choke on the C200.
To get back to the adapter (yes, the topic exists in several threads, mutating from one to another) - for those who held the C200 in your bosom - does the CFast 2.0 slot plastic cover have electronic contacts? I assume not. If not, then it's (99.99%) just a dust cover with a spring and anyone should be able to put together the connection the same way folks did with URSA.
Yeah, whenever I use an URSA dust...my sweat, vomit, pee, fingernails, hairs, and bellybutton lint all end up falling into the camera's memory card slots.URSAs do not have card doors so it's much easier.
Which doesn't seem to be all that complicated.*No electrical contacts but the lock out is a plastic pin off of the door that goes into a hole with the lockout spring loaded in the hole, it will have to be fabricated and 3D printed.

Some of the reviews on B&H for that URSA adapter weren't very kind but that appeared to be quality control related. Tom Antos put together his own URSA CFast-to-SSD system on the cheap (~$80 for parts plus his own labor) and seems quite pleased. I say, drop the card in, put some chewing gum* over the hole and you're in business.Even if all of this is do-able, I would not be an early adopter/guinea pig. I'd let all of you crazy people figure out the bugs and gotchas first! ;-)
According to EgoDisk - and don't we love all these multiple threads on the same topic - they'll sustain 230 MB/s (with 435 or whatever being in bursts).Considering how EgoDisk is about to release a 512gb CFast Card that has a write speed of 435MBps for $650, this might not really be worth the additional hassle and experimenting. 435MB/s is way more write speed that you need for the ~125MB/s (1Gbps) video codec in the C200, and 512GBs will give you 1hr of recording...

and on the sticks, an adapter connected to a 1 or 2 TB SSD would be more convenient for those needing to record a lot of footage
