"Silence is Golden" - a ZazaCast Film

Don't you have a film to finish? I've been waiting months for my DVD....get back to it!
Like all my other films, there's nothing to see here, step away from the monitor and stay behind the yellow tape please..... ;-)

A film?? What film? Frankly, I have no idea what you're talking about, sir! Okay, okay, I'm on it! LOL!

Nice grabs. I like the first one too. This looks a little dark and scary. . .hmmmm. I wonder what's it's going to be about.

I wonder if there's gonna be a chase scene or shoot-out? If I were writing this one, that's what I'd do.... uh, huh.

Hey, I just watched "Love Actually" and Liam's character said, "Silence is Golden." Way cool. Well, I thought so.

I'm sure Marlon will finish the film at some point....maybe even before zombies actually take over the planet!

That is a serene looking poster. Very nice. Shot of Upstate NY?
Thanks... yes, that's a lake up in the heart of the Adirondacks...just beautiful up there. I took it last summer and decided to add the tilt-shift look in photoshop.
Now I'm just waiting for the snow to melt!

MAH - LOL. That's hilarious. I thought too he'd use some "skin" or "lace" somewhere, or be finished way before anyone even started.

This was beautiful.

The script is lovely. I like how the characters feel layered and textured. There is both pain and love in their words and in the subtext.

The cinematography is perfect, the lighting gentle and drawing us into the world and very distracting us from their performance and emotions.

If I had one small suggestion it would have been for more of this story to unfold through visuals rather than just these two seated at the table, but that is a small complaint.

This is a touching piece and it was deftly handled.

Chris - hearing you loved the script coming from you is a great compliment.

In the original script, when he sits down, she stands up. When she sits down, he stands up. That continuous push and pull. One problem ZaZa encountered is that the actress had severe arthritis. She could only stand up for about 10-15 minutes at a time. So you would not have seen them at the table the entire time. Not much you can do when it's a health issue.

ZaZa did a great job with the script. Thanks, Chris.
