FYI: new Panasonic 25mm 1.4 will be announced early next year. Obviously not as fast as the nokton but will have auto focus capabilities and electronic iris control.

I never bother to believe anything off any of those rumor sites.
Anything.
If you look at that slide, you'll see that the proposed 25mm lens is listed as "under consideration". That doesn't mean they're going to do it.

It's times like this I wish I lived in the US. Seems we won't get ours until mid january. Seems canadians are one of the few getting the shaft as usual. If anyone hears of any stores (Canada or the US) with any in stock let me know, I'd like to get mine soon for a film I'm working on.

I find that lighting kit unusually noisy in the blacks. Perhaps the paraffin white point and gamma aren't being reproduced correctly due to poor match-lighting techniques.
Barry, I just couldn't resist. I feel like a kid waiting for an AF100 Santa here.
