DVX FEATURE. Still worth it.

Amazing! Well good for the producers - I have an HVX myself, and i think theres nothing more arrogant than to imagine that better gear results in better films.

The trailer does look excellent - im definately gonna be watching this :P

Just up my tree - an intelligent looking psychological horror :P

that's directed by Lance Weiler. he runs The Workbook Project and more recently the From Here To Awesome discovery and distribution program. we've actually gotten to know each other in the last few weeks. he's a cool guy, lives in Pennsylvania where I grew up, and is way ahead of the game. he made $250,000 self-distributing Head Trauma. his first film, The Last Broadcast, was the (let's just say...) inspiration for the Blair Witch Project. TLB is better, btw.

he's also running something called DIY Days at the end of this month in Los Angeles where he and a vast selection of panelists will be discussing the future of indie filmmaking and distribution. and it's free. www.diydays.com

I really enjoy what they were able to accomplish with The Last Broadcast. After seeing it on IFC I ended up buying it.

How do you know what camera it was shot on? All I could find was 'DV'.

Very inspiring stuff, might buy it. Gives me hope a movie shot on a cheap cam can 'look' like a movie.

Lance is definitely a guy to watch - he's always been at the forefront of digital filmmaking and distribution.
Forefront is almost an understatement... 'bleeding edge' would be more fitting.
