me too got an email that said its avail, bought it...hope they dont say now its on BO again cuz they gots my money and processed my order

I already prepaid at photo village, so ... did you folks get a notice and then place an order, or were you prepaid already?

did not pre pay, just got the notice at 5:56pm EST from PV notifying me it was in stock, order status is , in Que
 
I called about 20 mintues before Photo Village closed and they said they had 2 left. If my order confirmation e-mail is to believed, I got one. Then again, if the load times for the main site are any indication, there's a feedin' frenzy going on. So for all I know I might get an e-mail notifcation tomorrow for a refund. Either way, please don't slap me Barry :-)

Photovillage always has 2 lenses in stock, so they take one more order. Call in the next day, still 2 lenses in stock. I am afraid some of you might end up waiting.

OR

They have many on order... Arriving this week, but to get you to make your order, they say they only have 2 left. Oh well, eventually we will all get our Voighty.

Yeah, the thought had crossed my mind that it was a sales tactic. But it was either dive into the frenzy or wait till February.

Yeah, I was told 3 weeks ago I was #1 on the list when I pre-paid in full for it. I haven't heard anything so I'll call them in the morning.

Yes, it was Photo Village. No pre-order. Was notfied by email, made call to confirm, then placed order online, then called back to confirm again.
Shipping 2-3 day UPS.
