PORT/STARBOARD - A Rod Thompson Travesty

[bumkicho]

Just looking at the shots and the location in the first post is exciting enough. Looking forward to watching it when it's done.

Hey Rod. I wasn't going to say anything but I got a little too hammered tonight so I figured, hey, let's give Rod a shout.

So, I take it we're 'not' doing the Mangina thing this year? You do know I've remodelled it and I was thinking you might have to put in on the table for next year? I'll even toss in the animation.

At any rate, I must say you look particularly bad ass in these photos if I may be allowed to say so.

Good luck man, looks cool.

And put Mangina on your skedge for next year.

[RodThompson]

Indeed!

I was actually talking Mangina the other day with a friend of mine who wondered what ever happened to the head-sized statue of a vagina with tentacles that used to occupy my office. LOL.

[Gord.T]

Oh no, it's escaped. And IT'S ALIVE.

[TMerry]

Love the screengrabs!

[Mike Manning]

Wow dude, great location! Where is it / how'd you get it?

[Charli]

I love super locations like this. That rocks! How did you manage?

[kurtmo]

That's an awesome location!

Lol. I've been in the Navy for over ten years.

[Charli]

mmmm a man in uniform. Well, Mr. Postman is my McSteamy and Sad & ZaZa are my McDreamy.... should have known about you sooner, definitely love men who serve their country, married an ex-airforce SGT.

[Chris_Keaton]

No, it's not me.

[ramsaur]

Screen Grabs look good as well as poster. Do look forward to what you make.

[RodThompson]

As of right now, it doesn't look like we're going to make the fest with this one.

[ZazaCast]

Oh man.....

[kurtmo]

Nooooo!!!!! You must find a way! What's the hurdle?

[Michael Anthony Horrigan]

I thought you wrapped a while back!? What's up?

[RodThompson]

I guess real life just sort of took over. We wrapped shooting, but none of us have touched the footage to cut it. So we'd be rushing at this point to cut, effect, and ADR the final cut. And I'm not down with submitting shwag after The Fence Rider fiasco. lol.

[Darkline]

dam, that's a shame. The grabs on this looked really promising, and it's not like the fest is busting with entries so far.

But I know exactly what you mean. Im rushing around on mine and if it needs more work then I'm not going to submit it half-done and will pull out also.

Good luck with this when you get round to putting it together, sorry to see you're not going to make it this time.

I liked that film!

[Jaime V]

Man are you serious? You filmed this on a freakin navy cruiser man...you have GOT to submit! I'm still keeping my fingers crossed.
