We have been finishing up our new house and are slowing moving things in so I haven't worked out or gone to jiu-jitsu for over two weeks. My diet and eating schedule is all jacked up as well. No big deal, but I am dying to dive back in with a fresh start. I think these forced breaks are good though. In the past they have seemed to relight my fire and amp things up a bit.

and finally

100 Push Ups w/ 10 lb plate on back:

Nice workout Hudson. Looks like a good hour of fun. I love those push-ups with plates.

Anyway, I'm loving this thread and will be reporting back with my workouts soon. As for tomorrow, I will be doing 112 reps of moving-box lifts with some couch cleans and boxspring squats. I might get in a quick washer-on-the-dolly run as well. Good times.

My update:

1. I'm too damned old to make a race out of exercising. I prefer slow, steady, perfect form lifting. I get more benefit from such.

2. The last several days I've worked long hours outdoors setting up for sports broadcasts, operating camera, then tearing down cameras, scaffolding, rolling up miles of triax cable. I haven't been able to follow my diet plan very well when doing this work, but I feel strong and I kick ass when it comes to set up and tear down. The 20-something year olds marvel at my leadership, drive and determination. It makes me feel so alive and good.

3. I wish I had taken some before pics because I'm liking the way I'm burning fat and toning up now.

Great workout today again.

Before I was sick for about 2 weeks I could do 10 reps at 176lbs benchpress. First train after the sicktime it was only 5 reps. Oh man that sucks. Today (second time) I could do 6 1/2 :D I hate making steps backward.

So today was chest (breast?) and triceps and legs. Monday will be biceps and back.

Dang, I was busy all day with car repairs and work, but hopefully I can do my workout tomorrow and post it up here. I just hope nobody laughs at me!

12 squats
8 pushups

ok I did it just now, i did it in 2:32

it got my heart rate up for sure, but it's not really enough to make me sweat a lot. the next workout I make will take longer to do.

i know you guys can beat this time, i had to take a few breaks during the 12 pushups and 8 pushups. squats are no problem for me, it's those damn BREAST muscles that fail me!!

i didn't have time to film it, maybe next time.

3-2-2-2-1-1-1-1-1 (reps)

15 thrusters @ 65 lbs (front squat into a shoulder press)

My problem with working out is that I'm the opposite of most - I'm underweight and attempting to gain weight. So I have to change all the workouts I read about.

Anyone have any Abs routine that'll actually work? I've been running the same one for months now and I'm just staying stagnant.
