Thanks Joe, I will take a look into this as well. I might have overlooked it, but how is the option $100? It has quite a bit of connections I won't need and features, mainly need zoom. Peaking could be nice if it's better than the peaking provided by the GH5, seems others aren't happy with the previous peaking of the GH4.
The new 9x9 debayer technique, plus whatever other processing improvements are in play, have clearly improved the GH5's color rendition over the GH4. Really exciting.
Low-light tests (3200 ISO) from a French reviewer (hopefully legit), looks good--
Some may not be aware of its totally counter-intuitive peaking setup, where the "high" detect level gives the lowest screen response, and "low" the highest. Colors matter too, with low/blue giving me the best response in low contrast lighting or softer lenses (as in my ancient Nikkor fast primes); and high/yellow with sharper lenses as my 12-35/2.8, or contrasty conditions.
LOW causes the camera to peak on lower contrast areas. Can you clarify this? So setting to "low" makes the camera pickier about what is in focus?

He's a Panny "ambassador". Or whatever term is being used by the early testers.Pampuri is very legitimate.
I was waiting for his GH5 test in low light since his GH4 test (March 2014) looked great in low light.Low-light tests (3200 ISO) from a French reviewer (hopefully legit), looks good--

I posted it on the Industry News page. I don't think it has been posted here (or anywhere else)
Promotions are a financial consideration that becomes important when there's insufficient demand for a particular product. And considering that GH5 has an excess of demand - presumably, beyond Panasonic's production capabilities in the short run - there's no reason whatsoever for Panasonic to offer any deals. In fact, when the GH5 price was discussed months ago, I doubted that it would be above $1,800. Well, Panasonic was right and I was wrong. Even at $2,000, they're selling like hotcakes.Anyone know if Panasonic USA is doing the 5 year warranty promo for preorders. I searched for it and can't find anything specific to the US marketed cams...

Can you comment on the solution you've come up with for critical focus?
Does the GH4 have an OLED viewfinder?
