Thanks so much for the detailed answer, those are all good things to consider. Basically, I'm thinking that if the rumors are correct, and we'll see a GH5 announcement this month but no camera until 2017, then the smart thing to do is pick up a GH4 when the announcement price-drop happens, and then get a GH5 when they're out. I'm just wondering if all of the additional accessories I'll be getting with the GH4 (AC, battery grip, batteries, speedbooster, YAGH, etc.) will still work with the GH5. Here's hoping...!

Do you need all of those accessories? You won't need a battery grip - the battery life is equal to the strongest selling point for me. There are mixed reviews on the YAGH - any word on if it's going to keep working with the GH5?
Really strong IBIS/stabilization tech would make me buy one instantly but I'll still be using my GH4 to shoot interviews with a sound devices recorder for years to come. I'm happy about the GH5 because it means there will be dirt cheap GH4s floating around!
