I can't imagine they would promote a new 4k camera and shoot the story with something else, however we do see some sneaky tactics by manufacturers at times.

The fact that those videos doesn't specifically say shot on GH4 makes me think they may not be
No it's true! I know the 4K trailer is but I am more curious about the other footage. Ie the video on the photo journalist and the Japanese water/volcano photographer. They showed their pictures... But was the story filmed on the GH4?
Are watching the same thing? The Yucatan video clearly states "shot with GH4".

Didn't that happen with a Nikon video a couple of years ago? Turned out it was shot on a Canon? Or was it the other way around?
None of these state they were shot with the GH4 and I'd like to know if they were

AFAIK, crop is 2x when shooting 1080p, and 2.3x when shooting 4KCan we cat any info about movie crop ? Frame rates and bitrates ? I couldn't see any info about it or I missed it.
I think one of the sleeper features of this new cam is going to be the variable frame rate over and under crank in camera. The ability to shoot at 2 fps in 4k would allow an amazingly simple work flow for time lapses. Magic lantern allowed this on the Canon dslr's. It was an awesome feature, but due to the lack of sharpness in those cams, it just didn't create high enough quality results to be truly impressive. Here's hoping it's available in one of the 4k flavors and not just 1080 like the 96 fps is.
Cheers,
Pete
Where in the official specs do you see that the GH4 can do 96 fps? That's the whole piece of work flow that is so nice to get away from. No terabytes of raw images to store and process. No deflickering to sort out. No post processing of any kind to perform. No wear and tear on your shutter. Just drag and drop the mp4 or mov file on your timeline.Couldn't you do 2fps via timelapse controller and you get more DR and RAW than shooting 4K to 100mbs file. The GH3 can do this can it not?
