I too need that CD sunshade. People need it as a measure of functionality at this point. They are pressing hard but I have yet to see one I truly like. Well... time to update.

I guess there is a need for the next Firmware release.
Not only for 4K compressed recording. Take a look at the Release Notes. Reading all the known issues still to be fixed.
 
I hope, CD will deliver Firmware with short release cycles until we have 100%.
More a two-week-schedule instead of four-to-five months, frankly speaking.
 
Whats up with the 4K/2K raw not being supported in Adobe products?

I thought this firmware corrected something here.
 
Not Supported at this time:
-FS700 4K 100 / 120


But Mitch said earlier in this thread that this exact feature made it into the firmware?
 
Its in the release notes, under "known issues".

Some disturbing reading there.

Also something about the 4K image and 4K2HD being slightly misaligned to the top and to the left from center, if i have not misread the whole thing?

-In 4K Raw (Canon C500 and FS700) the live image is a letterbox from the 4K steam, thus
the live image will be slightly to the top left.

-In FS700 4KRaw to HD the scaled image is a center cut of the 4K Raw signal, thus it may be
slightly to the left compared to the internal media.

- Any idea, if the Sony L-Series Battery plates are out now?
- Will the 4K ProRes recording for Sony FS700 be next in the pipeline ("March update" + 2 weeks safety margin)?

We have shipped a bunch of Sony L-series plates in the past week or so and will cntinue to ship many more. I know a number of outlets have stock.

Do not expect the second item to happen in the next few weeks.
