Odyssey7Q February 2014 Firmware Update

As I understand it there is increased functionality of the Timecode I/O, but I have not tested for the details.

Thanks - will just try it out then.

BTW - feedback on the FW update docs - the folder structure looks like the }ODYSSEY UPDATE{ is a sub folder of }CLIPS{ but this isn't the case is it? Formatting shows this folder indented.

Convergent Design releases high tech firmware update to enable 4K RAW, ProRes and 4K2HD ... but fails to work out how to link to a file on a web site ;)

Come on, give them some minutes to "render" the zip-file.

I guess, a few more hours and I am in a position to push my dealer in Germany (still no unit in my hands). And we may name the popular codec.

Mitch, are you able to share news on two missing items for my setup?
- Any idea, if the Sony L-Series Battery plates are out now?
- Will the 4K ProRes recording for Sony FS700 be next in the pipeline ("March update" + 2 weeks safety margin)?

Mitch said earlier that Sony plates have been shipped and Symbiosis tweeted me to say they expect a batch tomorrow - I believe they distribute for Germany too. So my guess is 'soon' to quote Mitch!! - provided the shipment was big enough to fulfill yours too.

Guys, I think I figured it out. "Minutes" to Convergent Design are equal to what we call "hours".

That's why they are always so far behind!
