I have just finished a short script which would work for Lostfest. It is about LOST FREEDOM and it is titled FREEDOM. It is a period piece, set in the 1840s. The setting is tricky and probably a little costly ... an old train. It is about U.S. slavery and is based on a true story, about a slave girl who escaped from Georgia to Philadelphia by posing as a white man. Her black husband posed as her slave.
