My GH1 can't do this!

None of this seemed that impressive to me.... Our 5D smokes these in low-light and I think the GH2 with the voigtlander trumps it.. The images look very flat too.

One 1/3" lower res chip = larger pixels which should result in decent low light performance, what kind of adjustments can be made? I need something that does much more than low light I know still shots on that are nearly useless. Also whats the shutter speed in low light situations? It'd be nice to see some shots with a little more motion.

Taxi (we are signing off with old 80's tv shows right)

We have our GH1 (13) or GH2 for DOF this is just handy for other uses. Neat package with good sensor, auto zoom, good in low light, good focus system etc.
Compact for holiday use etc.
Cheers
Paul

I'll stick with my GH1....Ive been enticed before by panasonics and canons top camcorders (bought tried and returned)...they just dont deliver detail in lowlight in comparison.

I agree, it's quite good footage, sure beats my older Canon Vixia HF10's. The 2Mp sensor is interesting, no scaling, so is the 8 bladed aperture. I wonder how well it handles fast motion with the 24Mbps data rate.

not bad at all for $800, but $1500 is a little steep for that G10. Think I'd rather have gh2 for that price. Good post Paul.
