Sure did! Had to have a white, professional sounding broadcast voice and my voice has already been in this thing too much, so I reached out to somebody that I knew could do the job. HAWK!! It worked great for the beginning of the movie and now the credits are the only thing left to do (besides the score).

Credits? That should be easy. Just have the normal scrolling text on the left that says

Then on the right, it'll just have your name, but it won't scroll. That way everything lines up to you. Boom. Done!

Ha!! I'll say that I did have my hands in many pots on this film (MY PRECIOUS!!!), but I can honestly say that this film couldn't have been made without the sacrifices of my cast and crew! Thanks 10 million times!

I know, right?? I've been wanting to do a new one since I put up the original one. LOL! Maybe I'll be able to get to it soon after the score is taken care of.

Actually I was having it composed with all new songs, but my composer dropped the ball again (I don't know why people are so unreliable), so now I'm doing it with the help of another dvxuser, Matt Harris. I'll shoot you an email though too and thanks!

:) Tell me about it, Za. This film has taken me to the 15th round, but I'm still fightin'! I'm making more progress though. So glad you guys all chimed in, because I was actually coming here to update the page today.

I have the first 7 or so minutes scored and after getting the music together, it only took me a day to put the music in and get it right. That's big, because the music for the intro of the film really had to set it off and in my mind would be one of the hardest sections to do. Well, that part's a done deal now and after watching it about 70 times, I couldn't help but to be humbled. I'm super-excited about how it came out and feel truly blessed that this kind of greatness (IMO) has been made possible for my film. So in 2 or 3 weeks (there, I said it) the score should be done. This movie would be finished by now if my original composer hadn't wasted 2 and a half months of my time. Oh, well, things work out for the best in the end.

Oh, also, my girl has been working on the website and that'll be up soon (within the week) as well.

So, I've now composed the first 17 minutes of the film and it sounds fantastic!! It's coming along better than I could have imagined and I'll be on it again today. I've got a comical/dramatic scene coming up that'll be a little difficult to do, but I've got some good ideas for it and after this section, it gets much easier.
 
Oh how music changes your perception of things.

My friend's scoring Superseeds and every time I get an example back or go over to his studio my opinion of the movie changes, positively.

Yeah, you think your movie is good, but then when you add music that brings it out even more it makes it even "gooder." :grin: I'd like to think that my film without music is so compelling that the music is not needed, but c'mon. Who am I fooling?
 
Okay, I've been scoring on the film for the past couple of weeks and I've got some good news. Only 5 scenes left to score! That's right, only 5 scenes and we're finally home free!! It's sounding great BTW too. I plan to be finished by Tuesday or Wednesday.
