Thanks a ton!! :-)

I entered my first film Nine to five Ninja http://www.ninetofiveninja.com

into the DVX user Hero Fest a little while ago. That was my first attempt with making movies, but filming things has been with me for a while. In 2004 My wife and I won the National American Idol Music video contest. We won a new car, a 50 inch LCD tv, and other spiffy things. We also got to be in a little part of a music video with Diana and Fantasia shown at the finale. It was incredibly surreal. After that, I walked out of my job (which was taking payroll) and launched full tilt into wedding and corporate videography and making short inspirational snippets for the website http://www.sermonspice.com You can find my work there by searching for "Aftershock Studios"

In 2005 My wife and I placed in the top three in the same contest and I found DVXuser. After that, I studied and saved like crazy, lost everything once on a scam online, then saved again and finally bought my DVX100b. That was right before Hero Fest.

I LOVE making movies and know I have found my dream job. Somehow I will make this work and I appreciate the encouragement and support of all the people here.

Thanks for the kind comments Versus.

I think you will be pleased with Stricken. :dankk2:

Amazing story Matt!!! But between you and me, your wife is the big hero in this! It's always too damn hard to pull things like this without big support from a loved one!

That is SOOOO true! She is the one with the clapboard in the striped shirt in the BTS. She is amazingly supportive! I am a lucky dude. Did I mention I am excited about showing you all the movie........:Drogar-Evil(DBG):

You should be! After all, we dont shoot films to look at them behind closed door with a pack of cigarettes and a bottle of gin, we shoot films to show them around!

That is true! I just came up with an idea to make the DVD menu better. I will be working on that while I wait for the score from Leo! Woohoo!

We've just been talking about a DVD with my mate. When this is all finished, we'll put together EVERYTHING we have, footage, art, photos, and start working on a DVD, just for the experience and the fun of making one. If it turns out to be ok we'll probably try and promote it from our website (if we ever manage to put it online). We have a friend who's working for a greek website related to cinema and stuff, so he may be able to put up a promotion scheme on our behalf. We'll see how it goes.
