Matt Sconce- Stricken

I love this freaking shot!!!!

I like that shot too. Anytime you use a child, there's a different quality that they
bring. The innocence is gone on us adults, huh.

That is true, and it is nice when you find a kid who is so directable and can actually act. Yay for my little Alyssa! :)

Of course it does... Matt's the man!

Thanx Brandon!

Brandon has been giving me some feedback on the rough cut of Stricken, and has been instrumental to encouraging me in my making of it. Following in the footsteps of "Black Angel", Brandon, can you tell these Fellow DVXusers, what you think of Stricken so far? I appreciate it!

Hehe, Brandon Rice ... Indie Filmmaker Spokesperson. You should do commercials for these shorts.

"Hi, I'm Brandon Rice. If you're like me, you'll love Stricken!" ;-)

Certainly... you all are in for a treat with this one... it is quite a twisty ride, and is stunning visually. The performances are awesome, and I thoroughly dig it! Like I said, it's awesome... :)

Exactly! A new way to make some cash on the side...wait...what am I saying? FREE sounds good to me. :) Seriously though, he has given me some good insight. :)

Well, if he's even partially responsible for the shots you've shown, then you're both "the man".

You think he'll sponsor my movie if I send him a "gift"? Maybe for a pack of DVX tapes, I can get a "well, it wasn't as bad as Batman and Robin", in my thread :)

keep up the good work man.

I can say 100% I am not at all responsible for those shots... that's ALL MATT! Give him the BIG props... as these are some of the best looking DVX+35mm adapter shots I've seen.

Haha! and I have to give my props to Bright Lighting, the DVX100b (for sale in the marketplace...shameless plug), and Adobe After Effects for Noise removal....oh and I guess a little to me for planning the shots. :) I was very happy with the way the shots turned out. it is neat to see your storyboard come to life on screen.

now...the horrible truth......we took those flowers off someone's grave right next to us.........we put them back right after, but we felt horrible the whole time...good thing it was not the Black Angel!!! :crybaby:

The Dvd menu Doth Come togethereth...It be goodeth in mine eyes....... Okay I am done now...sorry I just came back from a LOOONG, awesome, martial arts class.

I am glad I have been taking time with the Menu. I am trying to have video going and have the buttons in Encore be invisible, so the person thinks they are clicking on the moviing button when, in reality, it is the invisible layer over the moving menu. If that made any sense, I hope it helped.

Anyway, i will update later when I am more coherent.

Okay, I am meeting with the sound Engineer on Thursday to finalize the sound and the Score will be completed and back to me on the 27th.

I just love this review.....Brandon gives it one thumb up! :)

I am getting quite anxious to get the score in. I am hoping it comes perfect because I will not have enough time for a second draft to happen before Horror fest.

Here is a close up of the menu in Encore. When the mouse or cursor is moved over one of the buttons, faint orange lines appear to the word's right and left. The Words for the selection fluctuate in Brightness like a light is dimming and glowing behind them, and the skull in the eye flickers in intensity. The theme for Stricken is playing in the background. When they click on a selection.........something really cool happens............:Drogar-Evil(DBG):
