UPDATES:

12.10.09 I completed the first rudimentary version of my script. It's a piece of crap, but at least we have something to work with. That gets me excited because we can eventually move forward and shoot.

I hope to run this script by my crew and get things fleshed out.

12.13.09 Working on setting up locations and shoot dates for January. Talking to some folks last night about being extras. Given the subject matter, I don't need to twist many arms.

12.15.09 We have our first shoot date set. January 10th, 2010.

12.16.09 I'm pleased to announce that Heather D has joined the cast. (This film needs a female presence.)
I went out today and took a few exterior location shots. The cast and crew will no doubt be thrilled to shoot outdoors in January.

12.29.09 Time flies! I have not updated since the 16th with all the holiday madness. I have been putting together a little teaser video to promote the film. (I'm just killing time as we don't start shooting for a few weeks.) Look for the video soon!

12.31.09 Promo/teaser is online now. View it here.

1.06.10 Had a read-through with our two main actors, Paul and Doug. Everything went well.

1.10.10 We shot our first two scenes. Tough day, but I think everyone did great. More shooting to commence in the next few weeks.

1.22.10 Just storyboarded out my next two scenes. We shoot again on 1.31

1.31.10 Shot our 2 exterior scenes on the freezing cold streets of Norwalk, CT. I've begun a rough edit with the existing footage.

2.14.10 Managed to shoot our final scene. All filming done. Now to continue with the edit!

2.18.10 Edit is pretty much a lock. Now, color correction & a few final details.

Welcome, interesting little opening there. Cant wait to see some posters and some info. Keep us up-to-date.

Well, by my count, I've been on DVXuser for over 4 years now. It's about time I bring something to the table besides snarky comments in the Cafe. :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

I've got my work cut out...I've got a bit of an idea in my head for a script. So we'll see what we can put together here in Connecticut.

As for the quotes in the "opening", anyone with any interest in 1980's hardcore music should enjoy my film. (If we ever do it!)

All the best,
Scott

Oh yeah...you better do this now....a film about '80s hardcore? I will pester you unitl you complete this!

Yes, please do, dsto. I need a swift kick in the ass to stay on this project.

Well, all signs point to 'yes' so far. And I'll just keep listening to all the old songs I now have in iTunes for inspiration.

1980's hardcore. man that's my cup of tea... ill be on you to see how its coming.... starting with right now....

HOW'S IT COMING?

Slow process....I hope to get together with a few cronies to iron out the script this week. I have one cool location in mind.

I'm starting to see posters popping up, everything looks good, you guys.
