I dig this for cradled shooting, although doesn't do much for you for shoulder mounted shooting. Very nice idea. You might pick up a Hoodman H400 hood, it isn't perfect but will make the touchscreen usable outdoors although the reflections still suck.
"Facebook live streaming" while wearing a light on my head. Ugh. This "millennial" / social media production world isn't anything that I want any part of.
FWIW, I kind of agree with you JP. I am hardly ever using the touch in the touchscreen, I use the joystick on the grip much more. For some reason, on my 80D on my Zhiyun Crane, the touchscreen works really nicely but on my C200, I've used it maybe once or twice. Shooting dancers all last week, I was using the joystick on the grip much more. We had a C300 MKII as B camera and it works fine there as well.

I know of at least one group of people who are excited about touch screens on pro video cameras-
On the MKII monitor sag seems to be the fault of the 2 small plastic locating pins on the hot shoe attachment (between the 4 screws):

Once the monitor takes a knock they can snap and the monitor sags/rotates. I'm gonna see if Canon will sell me some spares as they're easy to replace.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, 'independent filmmakers' (wedding shooters), we already said that.
And this guy here.
Classic hubris. Been there, done that...
Can I chuckle at the insanity of this without coming across like a horse's behind?? Why a touch-screen and not just a little rubber joystick that controls a pointer that you move around the screen, the joystick being depressed to activate functions? Using a finger to touch all over the screen to control focus ( to re-instruct AF ), your hand at times blocking your vision of the scene being recorded, your finger putting finger prints all over a display that, as a result of being un-louped, is already causing you to fight reflections...and now you have to reach inside a hood that causes your finger / hand to block your view of the image display even more....guys, this is madness.
The touch-screen should have stayed on smartphones. Along with AF.

The demo camera in the background of this video seems to have a rod handle extension. Looks like it could be from Zacuto?

They should come out with a c200B kit that has everything the normal c200 kit includes (handgrip, LCD/cable, handle), with a price savings for not buying their viewfinder.
You could add and use a third party viewfinder, without Canon's VF being on the back doing nothing. You of course can already do this but adding individual parts to the c200b isn't cheap.
I'm surprised at how many users I have spoken with at various events bought the 200B, when they introduced it, I didn't think very many would buy it. Guess I was wrong, the siren call of the gimbal is too strong ;-) I am glad I went with the regular model, the EVF has came in pretty handy on several shoots. For me, I don't want my A camera on a gimbal, I much prefer a small camera on a small gimbal that can be put aside, then grabbed when needed. That way, A camera is rigged for regular shooting and gimbal can be grabbed on a momen't notice to go shoot gimbal footage.
Haha who down voted you for sharing helpful pictures?
Anyway if you were committed to a shoulder rig with the c200, do you think the c200b would be the way to go?
Ha, ha, I don't pay attention to downvoting or upvoting, whatevs, but that is funny.
As far as shoulder mount, I would buy the C200B if I already owned or was commited to buying the Zacuto Gratical. I originally was thinking about the Gratical Eye because of the smaller size but it has to be powered from a D-Tap which would come from a V-Mount or AB brick and I have learned that I don't like the C200 shoulder mounted with a brick or at least my Maxoak big heavy bricks, it just makes a small, agile rig into a long and clunky, heavy rig. So adding a Gratical to a 200B would be a nice setup for shoulder mounted shooting. I have to say though that for interviews on tripod, I kind of like the built in EVF at the rear better than a side mounted EVF like the Gratical, although I supposed you could mount the Gratical to the rear of the 200B for those situations?
At some level it seems like a shame to not use a perfectly good EVF. Have you thought about a c200/easy rig combo? You'd take advantage of the built in EVF and don't need larger batteries..
