HVX 200 Pictures

I think it's a prototype.
Buttons seem so consumer and cheap, also the writing over the button is crooked.
Pictures are different from Noahk's.

This has got to be a mockup. Look below at the Fisher-Price plastic wobbly looking pushbuttons:

If anyone buys a cam for the look of it, they're not worth a damn anyway. I think they're the type of people who won't care about or understand 24p or 100 mb/s, so they should save their money on the FX1 anyway.

I think Panasonic is in the position they are because they're after the people who will producing content and remain customers.

You'll find out tomorrow. And it's a really, really, really good reason.

How are you so *informed* about all this?

You little sneak....you're holding out info on us!! :)

It would have been nice to have 16:9 viewfinder and LCD screen, though...

A 4 X 3 screen would work out great. We could have the 16:9 screen to ourselves within the 4 x 3 screen and data read outs above and below where the black bars are normally on the 4X3 screen showing us camera status: time code, battery, memory info, etc... it's the smart way to do it. Our picture will be icon free, at last!:) Now who wouldn't want that?

Of cause that would be excellent, if the resolution is higher, but if it's only 180.000 pixels I'd still prefer a 16:9 display. Will see how it turns out in the PDF tomorrow...

Yeah. And its much cheeper to build in a normal viewfinder, hm?

Is it HighRes, that's the question. Can I focus HD with it? Becaus that's what you really start to care about. Never mind well focussed SD. But this is 1080 lines. You want it to be crisp, don't you.

Speakinig of handle, did you notice how the front part of the top handle on the HVX goes off to the side? Where does it go? Has anyone seen picture of the "other" side of the camera?

Of course we want excellent LCD resolution, otherwise it's focus by Braille. Let's see what they bring us. This site has given them plenty of info on what we want, let's see if they can deliver.

What time tomorrow? Just wondering when we should all get on dvxuser and wait for the info to *trickle* in like it did today. Thanx,

I'll find out what time tonight, so I won't know until later tonight when we can post info. But from what I understand, it'll be available here tomorrow. I'll post a notice if I can, but it may just turn out that the article shows up first, we'll see.
