Hot Girl plays with Kittens (7D experiment)

So this was originally supposed to be a viral video for Doritos but I thought, why let doritos have all the fun. We filmed 4 adorable kittens, along with a good friend of mine.

The kittens are having fun in slow motion and so is she. It's all set to some classical Philip Glass music and it turned out really well I think.

It's basically a test to see what can go viral these days.
Hot Girl....check
Kittens....check
Slow Motion....check
super mario shirt for the geek crowd...check

it was all shot on the Canon 7D with 20mm and 50mm primes, used the Marvels Cine colour profile and then corrected it with FCP and Magic Bullet Looks.
All shot at 720p @60fps and dropped into a 24p timeline for the slowmotion.

Oh damn, you should have done more of that film burn transition effect. I dont see it enough these days.
 
I certainly don't know what it takes to be viral, but it seemed too long/artsy to be viral (to me).

Seemed like a nice piece, but nothing would make me forward it and say, "You HAVE to see this," you know?

Nice and simple. Heavy contrast scene, but the beauty lighting is quite soft on the models face. Keep up the good work.

when i first saw it I was like ahh cute kittens, the next thing i saw was like, big breasted woman with cute kitten laying on her breasts and thought WTF?!?!?! had me baffled, guess it is an attempt to crack the viral formula, I wouldnt watch it again. But super Mario on a dress ha ha ha ha random. The lighting was cool though and liked the burn effects
 
£20 says this doesn't go "viral". We are commissioned to make "virals" all the time, and every time we're asked to make a "viral", we say "it's not a viral until it goes viral". There's a very good checklist of what makes a good viral, and it involves things that are out of the ordinary, push people out of their comfort zone, topical, etc. This is none of that I'm afraid.

There are maybe 3 selling points in this. One is your friend being smoking hot, the other two are covered by a tshirt.

Nicely shot though.
 
I agree with the use above, a bit shorter... and maybe a catchy phrase or tagline at the end.. and you got yourself the makings of a good viral video.... great idea!
