GH1 sensor variation/burn-in efficacy proof

Now that sarcasm is pretty funny, but I know better. I previously designed sewer inspection robots, technically cameras that went in sewers. I know from experience that human waste is highly corrosive to electronics. Not a chance that your GH1 would work after that.. :)

It's true, it didn't go into the sewer. And I do occasionally get some banding. I'll have to try the "bright light somewhere" trick. But every camera I have ever bought has some annoying thing--three of my video cameras have developed stuck pixels. I appreciate the pixel refresh feature, wish my Canon cams had it.

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I'm trying to figure out if a GH1 can develop banding at some point in its life even if it didn't have banding before.

Azmyth, didn't you shoot this with your GH1? I can't see any banding here. Or maybe my monitor or my retinas are not as sharp as yours?

Does anybody see banding above?

By the way, congrats on your feature, Azmyth. Those shots look very cinematic, and the lighting in the outdoor shots on the second part is very nice.
