Finally, after 4 moths, I have something to show. This was all shot within the first four hours of me opening my DVX, I haven't used a camera in over three months so I'm a bit rusty. I'll upload more tomorrow after its all edited, theres lots of it.

Sorry bout the Sorenson watermark, I only have the trial version :(

why do people post these random pointless videos of nothing, i mean yeah test your footage but stop wasting peoples time and space on this message board and write a short story.

I posted some random **** when I first got my DVX, too. At least he wasn't taking shots of his cats.:D

People are happy they received their new camera and they want some feedback on how they're using it.

You don't have to click and view the footage if you don't want to.

Why do people who dont want to see random pointless videos bother posting in the threads with them?:violin:

Anyway, yeah i know it was random but I am having fun with my camera so why dont you shut it.

having fun with your camera? but why film a bunch of random crap and post it when u can have fun with your camera and try and do something a little more interesting, i can understand what your filming, it just doesn't seem like something that needs to be posted for people to watch.

Cause when you have only had the camera for three or so hours, your kinda in "run and gun" mode. Tomorrow I am shooting some biking stuff so I'll get something "more interesting" up soon.

I admit after trying to watch it, your footage is very boring.

Hopefully your biking stuff with change that.

Wow. If you don't want to watch it, then don't watch it... seriously... Don't come in here and be an a--hole telling the guy not to post pointless videos. It's a free country. Let him post whatever the hell he wants to. No one's pointing a gun to your head and forcing you to watch.

Agreed...Seriously...I always go on here to see people that put test shots together....Stories, clips, screen shots....Pretty sure this forum is specifically for this kind of stuff....No need to post if it's gonna be nasty....If you're gonna post keep it to critiques...

I post stuff like this all the time....Not much of a story teller yet but I enjoy getting feedback on my shots, CC, and whatnot....Don't put people down for asking what others think of their test footage....

Glad to see you finally got your camera Dory...Looking forward to seeing more of your stuff....

actually i think it could stand to be a little more boring.... but that's just me! ;)

same reason you can make the comments.

I know others already told you off, but I have to as well.

I have been seeing Dory post quite a bit, and some of them are about how he is getting his DVX soon. So he is pretty excited. I think I, and 90% of the people on this board, posted some "pointless" footage at one point or another, ESPECIALLY if it's their first day with a brand new DVX. I mean come on, you're all excited to post it and show people, how can't you be?

The watermark really bugged me, Dory.

Post that same footage on www.blip.tv and you can get a much higher quality version!

PS dory, don't stop shooting for the next month or so. That's what I did and I learned a hell of a lot!

Thanks Robbie, yah it bugged me too. I need to get Adobe Encoder figured out. Cant wait to see how my uprezed stuff looks on a 30 inch 720P hi def set.
