Best oncamera or nearby battery powered light?

I'm looking for a light to use that would augment natural light -- either fill in shadows in daylight or help with naturally-lit interiors. For instance, if I'm filming someone making a cappucino, the light would help me get the close up of the frothing milk, etc.

Basically, I'm working run-and-gun one-man-crew (me) and I know I'm sacrificing quality by not having a huge lighting set up.

Your advice is appreciated.

A Lowel Pro light can be configured with a 12V bulb to run off a battery belt as a sun gun. It works pretty good for some fill light but if you're using it in daylight situations you're going to have to CTB it which is going to eat up a lot of light. I've also heard pretty good things about Litepanels which come in a daylight balanced model so you don't have to worry about light loss from gelling and they're much more effecient with power being LED. Both lights can be mounted on camera or rigged easily almost anywhere.

i just purchased a light from Vidled; you can check out the product line at www.vidled.com. should have the light tomorrow; after researching - vidled fit perfectly for me. i almost went the litepanels route, but couldn't justify the cost. if you want to use your dvx batteries you can get the light and battery adapter for less than $300 bucks...
