Fire!

glad to know friends and family of socal dvxusers are safe thus far. here, i've been scrambling to reshedule this week's shooting for Heart of Now to alternative locations. we were supposed to be in Malibu and at Point Dume this week.

the fire is about to enter eastern chula vista. there are thousands upon thousands of homes in that area. the outlook of this is bleak. let us hope for an end to this soon.

They got the notice to prepare for a possible evac

He falls a block on both sides into two evac zones; North of Sorrento Valley and West of Back Mountain Rd

I have a good freind living in East Lake (Chula Juana)

Fire moves into Fairbanks Ranch

Del Mar city officials are reporting that the fire has moved into the Fairbanks Ranch area. Residents in Del Mar are being told to evacaute.

i'm not familiar with california. theoretically, if it continues on its path to the pacific, about how many homes are we talking about?

this fire on the way to the beach is 0% contained. this is a terrible day for san diego.

Just got an email from my brother, guess he's surrounded in it and waiting for them to let him and his family evacuate.
He's not the type to freak out but it sounds like he is now.

Man that sucks.
 
hey john, it jumped the 15 hours ago. fallbrook has evacuated.
SDSU cancelled classes tomorrow, so me and my roomates wanted to throw a party...
but that would be messed up, so we just watched MNF.

we have a friend from del mar staying at our house tonight. She lives east of 5, where it's voluntary evac.

that's awful. with all the other smaller towns being mentioned, i didn't realize it was san diego. i'm sorry guys, wish i could do something.
 
I really hope this fire dies down soon.

I'm surprisingly not hearing all that much about it on the news here.
