Fire!

[Brandon Rice]

Yep... there's a HUGE brush fire like 4 miles from my house... nuts. :furious3:

[Geoff_R]

Some crazy pictures from my roof. The Aqua Dulce fire in Santa Clarita Valley.

[Brandon Rice]

Yea, that's the one near me.. I live near Geoff.

[Brandon Rice]

it's moving away... for now.

[J.R. Hudson]

Love that Santa Ana

[Brandon Rice]

Agh... winds changed again... it's creeping closer.

[Brandon Rice]

About to evacuate. Peace out.

[TC]

I can see it from my patio... it's giving off this really warm lighting. Pretty neat.

[Drew Ott]

Good luck Brice. Keep us updated.

If Brandon had that GPS implant as required by DVXuser policy, we'd know if he was safe.

We're praying for you, B-Man.

[MiniMan13]

Apparently there are some fires near me as well, im going to run around with my d40x and have some fun :-D

[Brandon Rice]

I am alive...

[MiniMan13]

good to hear your Ok Rice!
They blocked off all the roads up there, so no pix from me

[Brandon Rice]

Pics....

Apparently the fire is out and we may be able to return tonight.

[Brandon Rice]

I will say it was a pretty crazy surreal experience

[ugafan]

I am alive...

good to know. i would be really freaked out if you were still communicating with us posthumously.

This is def my favorite thread. I mean, I'm not a fan of fires, but the pics are amazing. Look straight out of a real movie.

Remind me of Dante's peak. Hopefully no one's grandmother had to push a boat as she died....at least that's how i remember that movie.

yes, Dante's Peak was a volcano movie, i know.

[Brandon Rice]

How could I sell these pics to a network?

[DerrickTempleton]

glad you are ok! it's too bad all those hybrid owners just lot a lot of progress. anyone who wants to share a space capsule to the mars colony with me in 2042 is welcome as long as they chip in for gas (read: rocket fuel)
