Fire!

Taken like 20 mins ago from my roof. I am packing up all my gear now just as a precaution.

It's like a mile from my place.

Seems to be going the opposite direction. I am back now... won't be sleeping tonight.

i wish i had an slr camera, i'm in san diego (a block from the ocean) but the smoke from the fires are all the way down here and made for an AMAZING sunset through the smoke. it smells great here though, smells just like you're at a camp fire. everytime i walk out i want to grab some marshmallows

Yea, some people hate the smell... it's not too bad, except I'll go into work and my clothes will smell like fires. hehe.

I'm right in the middle of the Canyon Country fire btw.

oh, and Geoff was in the middle of the fire as well... he got out, and is at a friend's place in Sherman Oaks.

I am alive...
good to know. i would be really freaked out if you were still communicating with us posthumously.

If anyone could find a way to post from the after-life, it would be Briceman.

Good to hear everyone is dooing ok, thanks for the updates Brandon.

And fantastic pictures too everyone!

(Brandon; to sell your pictures, they would really have to be of something unique, or *really really really* good (to beat out the regular frelancers that submit material regularly).

It's a little past 3am here... and the danger's over for now... my hair and clothes are full of ash and soot... but I am passing out to sleep now.

Pictures? Where's the video. Anyway, you have to constantly be aware of what's going on or you could find yourself surrounded very quickly. Also its easy to be overcome by smoke inhalation...
