DRI - a film by Michael Anthony Horrigan

Hey, not a bad idea, Tommy! LOL. Definitely makes it sound alot cooler for sho.' I like that. Luckily I haven't had the problem of getting turned down yet (knock on wood), but there's always the next time.

Hey, Mike, I don't see a pic or a link.

Weird? The pic is there.

Thanks, guys. I think AE or Photoshop could probably fix the distortion (as mentioned) but I don't know if it's worth the hassle. I may just go without the wide angle on this one.

Hmmmm..... not sure.

If it wasn't for the fact that picky filmmakers are the majority of the ones that will be voting on it, I would leave the Bowing in there, its adds to the disturbed creepiness of it all IMHO :-)

True.
But I've lost points for that crappy lens in the past. :)

I'll either get a better one or make do without it.

Either zoom in a little more (unless this is a prime lens) or find an advantage to using it! Don't be afraid to distort the image if you feel like it can work to the film's benefit.

If it won't help, ditch it. No reason for it to cause headaches.

Well you just can't use it now...or people will think you just settled for a crappy lens.
If you do you'll lose points for sure!:D

No big deal.

I'll play around with it and see if it works for the odd shot once zoomed in a bit.
If all else fails... I'll make some sort of 'artistic vision' claim and be in the clear.

Made a few slight changes to the script today. I wanted to step away from it for a couple of weeks and give it a fresh look. The changes allowed me to give the main character more purpose. I think I'm finished.

Just waiting for some feedback.

Now on to more casting, prop work, and looking for a good makeup artist.

Glad it's moving along swiftly! It's always refreshing to set the piece down for a while and come back to it. Things just pop that you may have missed before.

That's exactly what happened. Things just became clearer after some time away. Hopefully I'll have time to do that with the edit as well. :)
