Are we just meeting and greeting? Or is there an acutal project anyone has in mind?

Would any of you guys be interested in renting a Red One? It would be about $250/day for a shooting package batteries/rails/2 RED drives/CF module/Birger EF mount so you can use your Canon still lenses. Not looking to make money, just recoup the investment so the price is low. I know another owner/operator type in Houston that charges $500 for similar...

Not yet, I just got my 7D. I'll keep an ear out for you. It's too late now, but for next SXSW, I saw someone in LA advertising that they were buying footage from the event. Craigslist.

Yah it's been hectic for us too. We all have regular jobs and spend majority of our off time working on building a production team. Currently trying to shoot a few shorts and videos to build our portfolio.

What days/time are good for you?

cant for the next week or two, in the middle of shooting.

These 8 hours at work and 8 hour shoots immediatenly after are starting to kill me, lol.

I've got a couple (Zeiss & Nikon), but no DSLRs (three Andromeda systems though). Still wouldn't mind meeting folks in the South side of Houston (Clear Lake).
