Camera rumors for 2016?

[Mitch Gross]

So far no one's close, although I have to say that all the talk of pasta is making me hungry.

It's a monitor for grading, isn't it?

[Josh Bass]

The best part is, it will make pasta out of ANYTHING. Feed it a steak, get meat pasta. MMMMMM.

[stokstad]

V-lock battery that records prores

[NorBro]

If it's none of the above then it's probably audio related...

[Gweilo66]

Is it Indiecam raw?

[firehawk]

How about a flashing warning indicator with siren that comes on when my really observant hired help leave the shoulder strap dangling in front of the lens while recording

[Mitch Gross]

Is it Indiecam raw?

Indiecam RAW? We've been doing that a LONG time. It's part of the Odyssey RAW Bundle (under POV RAW along with IO 4K & 2K).

[Mitch Gross]

Interesting guesses all. And all incorrect.

I've been playing with the proto today -- impressive stuff.

[Jaime Valles]

I bet it's the Love Toilet™

[bill totolo]

In that case i hope its a 4K, HDR, Hi-Brite version of the 7Q with internal Lithium batteries.

[S.Blanchardon]

As of today, things are on track for Convergent Design to have a big announcement for IBC. Fingers crossed that the timing works out. Something totally unexpected and pretty cool.

Everyone forgot about the Athena ? I surely did not !

A Mitch Gross bobblehead?

[Matt Gottshalk]

A Mitch Gross bobblehead?

I'll take 3!

[firehawk]

I'll take 3!

Yeah! One for the dash, one on top of the Odyssey and a backup!

A 5" monitor/recorder with HDR and 4K record? I guess that's not very unexpected (in fact I'd be shocked if you guys and Atomos don't have that in the works), but it is very cool. Eric's guess of a camera would have been my first, too. You guys could eat BMD/Red/Sony's lunch if it was priced/featured right...

[Samuel H]

If it's not a camera, recorder or viewfinder, then what else do we have left... lots of stuff, actually! It could be a gimbal, drone, electronic followfocus, LED lights...

I'll bet on the electronic FF, simply because I was developing one a few months ago and left the project on hold because I didn't have the time, then feared somebody else would come to the market before I even got to play with my lovely toys XD

[Erik Naso]

Oh that crafty Mitch playing with our gear head brains!!!

[DLD]

Everyone forgot about ... Athena ? ...

She's just a girl.
