Broken Circle

I cam into horrofest like "Come on, do your worst" maybe thats not the best thing, but I wanted to be scared, freaked out or tense. Films that achieved that got better marks from me. Meat was still tp 10 from me though.

Thanks Brandon! you're a star!

Ohhh! very cool info, Jack. They seemed to know what they were doing. I agree, not dark... more like Eating Raul. But I felt very campy adnd complete. I enjoyed Meat. I thought they did a great job.

Meat .... I feel it didnt get the exposure of some which is a shame....
It'll be insteresting to see if the amount of exposure has anything at all to do with the final results. We may all be suprised.
It's happened once. "A Brief Case" in Sci Fest was a solid 3rd but like the 30th viewd thread or something. Againn its averages. So if 20 people saw Meat and voted/rated it a 9, then that trumps 60 people seeing Broken Circle and rating/voting it an 8.

If your film finds a niche audience then low views could actually help it.

If it finds a large audience then the advantage is that hopefully the larger sampling will even out atypical low scores if it should rate higher.

T.o.p. 5. T.e.d.
Awfully nice there JP. Looking forward to applying what I've learned on this experience. But thanks. I am proud what I was able to pull off. Considering!

ahhhh, so the trick is to sneak a film under the raydar, do no promotion, and get about 3 people (all of whom owe you favours) to vote on the film.

Next time you guys are in for it!

By the way Ted - thankyou. and Im SURE you would have done the idea justice. Im really scared to see what happens when you get a crew. you'll be whipping us like your bitches

So it goes on average per views of thread?

No per votes you get... so as Jack said, a film with 3 votes of 9, will beat a film of 9 votes of 9's with one 8 in there.
