Broken Circle

Jack, I dont want to get your hopes up but the worst you're going away with is some base plate rod thing!

but yeh, you dont know how the voting goes. And I didnt even get a chance to bribe all my mates to join dvxuser and fill in bias ballot forms for me!

hey, maybe the next one!

You really loved MEAT Jack?
I thought it was the most solid film.
It didn't hit some of the highs that other films did that went to a darker deeper place but it was hard to score low in any category and seemed very professional.
So when you have a consistent slightly above average score in every category it comes in slightly ahead ... like I said though. Their ending socre was X.8 and you and Bloody Mary were X.5.

according to some people that would be just another form of guerilla marketing.

Hm. Wasn't a big fan of Meat. Didn't go dark enough for me... with the concept. IDK. Just my 2 cents.

I must say that MEAT blew me away. It felt like a very complete and enjoyable entry for horrorfest. I was very surprised having not heard much from them.

hey Brandon, what happened to my review guy? and I held you in such high esteem :-)

just kidding - dont kill me!

Oh snaps! I haven't posted the review for your film yet? I coulda swore I did... I'll get on it. I have it saved on my comp. here somewhere!

BTW: Your film's going to be top 5-10, easily.

I really liked meat, but yeh perhaps too much 'fun' for me to give it a top 5 placing.... I feel it didnt get the exposure of some which is a shame....

It'll be insteresting to see if the amount of exposure has anything at all to do with the final results. We may all be suprised.

They own and operate a state of the art sound facility where they do sound design and mixing for people like James Cameron. So they are auteur noobs, but complete pros and have handled thousands and thousands of feet of film from indie projects to big deals doing sound for them ... so obv. they picked up a thing or two along the way.

When I went to L.A. to present in the DVXuser Camp, we toured their facility and suggestedm to them that they enter the horrorfest. Great guys.

Darkline, you BLEW me away!!!!!!!! I already told you that. I WAS SCARED!!!!!!

It was very funny.... your film was very similar to a concept that I had before I.D.

But nothing like you pulled off!
