There's a couple guys in dark suits at the door. Be right back after I find out what they want.
Oh yeah!
Tomorrow is a special day. It is my birthday. I will turn 25. Ok, probably not the most exciting thing ever.
But the fact that I will be exclusively watching 15 minutes of Avatar in an IMAX theatre definitely is! Now that's a birthday present!
Special showing in 2 Theaters here in Hong Kong! 600 cards total, selling today. AMC Pacific Place and UA Megabox - BEA IMAX.

I agree. Photo realistic? No way.I'm not digging it either. Cameron oversold it as being photo realistic CGI. Just looks like another Star Wars cartoon to me. District 9 looked more real on a 30 million dollar budget.
Thanks alot guys!
Now I'm worriedI am not going to watch the trailer. I will wait for the IMAX showing tomorrow. I'll report afterwards.
Here's an HD link.

Hopefully the story's so good it doesn't matter...but yeah...I bet JC wishes he could take those words back. I think he's made the mistake of rendering things too beautifully. Blokamp made his images dirty and grimy enough that the CGI elements blended in. Although Blokamp used real environments which he insterted his creatures into. Avatar is full of shots that are 100 percent rendered, CGI environments and characters. Still, if he dirtied up the cinematography I'm sure things wouldn't look so fake.
Can you fill me in?You are. It's character background. And it has to do with the nature of the future he's in.
Can you just answer this? Does the future that he's in include all the mech's we see in the trailer? If so I see no need for wheelchairs.Sorry, no. Nondisclosure is a *****.
