I'll try and post a PDF or some other alternative ballot later tonight. Jarred shiuld have the fiom discussion subforum up tonight as well. No film promotion is allowed until after the voting is closed-so I'd hold off on showing it publicly until we close the vote.

If there are any big encoding glitches, post the film titles here and we'll see what we can do. Some of the files we received have issues, but we can always try reencoding files with major problems. Jarred did all the encoding, so I'll let him know there's some issues.

Both have severe encoding issues it seems.


The Gaussian Project :
seems as though it has a sound issue, though, it might actually be part of the film… I’m not sure. The audio track sounds reversed and what should be coming out the left speaker is coming out the right and vice versa. No problem with encoding on this one.

What about BTS stuff, if someone asks questions of a tech nature? (Meaning, can I have a link to a page showing how-I-did whatever?)
 
regarding overtime - an example is Kaz's film - its amazing - truly amazing - I am very impressed with it - is it in the running? 20 secs over but i have a feeling he will deserve some prize.
 
For all the people who can't use the xls file, there is a great open-source program called Open Office, made by Sun Microsystems and distributed for free that does nearly everything that Microsoft Office does. You can get it at www.openoffice.org/
 
Not sure if this was answered somewhere else.

Considering there are separate prizes for camera work and editing, how is it that we're supposed to rate both of these together under cinematography???

I'm NOT a hard-on about rules, but I know for many of us another XX seconds/minutes would have been useful, but we gave that up to stay at 6 minutes. Curious on when and how it will be decided how much time over is too much if a film goes over time by more than a few seconds?
 
Jarred posted the my DVD version instead of my 6 minute version. What am I supposed to do? I don't want this to screw up the voting!

I already PM'd Jarred about it. In reality though, my credits are 1 min 30 sec.
 
Dan--please hold off on the BTS material until after the vote. Until then, you're free to discuss your film in the single discussion thread we'll be allowing for each film. Kaz--sounds like our mistake, so don't worry. We should be ablr to replace it with the other version.
 
Just got back from eating breakfast (3 runny eggs and 2 pieces of toast, and a Diet Pepsi(I love days off!)) What happened when I was gone?
