+1 ugh just had yet another job deliver their final as ungraded log after I sent them all the LUTs and even offered to do at least minimal grading for free to avoid this issue. Might have to sell off my fs700+7q+ kit if this isn't a CD priority after all these years. Have to find a good camera system that allows me to deliver lutted footage without a DIT on set...
 
Maybe this is a silly feature request but... would it be possible to have a confirmation on stopping a record in progress for the clumsy-fingered? (Or when the touchscreen somehow detects [read: glitches] a tap at the top when I hit a function down below, stopping the recording)

While rare that it ever happens, it has burned me once when I was toggling focus assist a long while back. And with all these awesome new features that I keep seeing added (but can't afford that Apollo option!), I can only imagine it being a good safety feature to have.
 
I have virtually the same issues Noah, daily.
You skipped my question I'm asking again Mitch, is the burnt in LUT feature on the table still? Or are we in DnX territory here?
Given what the 7Q+ can already do, surely this is not a big ask.

Can you elaborate on the functionality of the dual recording capability that's been added to non-Apollo enabled Odyssey devices? It's only briefly mentioned in your video, but from your video it looks like there's a picture-in-picture effect going on, or is that just a preview of the secondary input? Also, reading the specs, why cannot this include 1080 50/60P? Presumably you have the capability to make this happen (after all the Apollo option can do 50/60P in dual 4K)?

The download worked for me today, after some timeout errors.

@Mitch: Any known issues for this firmware? you posted them with the release notes usually - glad if there are none though ;)

Fuji IS-Mini with the Fuji Plus License for IS-Mini Manager for HD material will do the job and quite well.

I live in the US (altho' some people think New Mexico is not in the US); and, I've experienced the same server timeout issue. After getting an alternate link, all worked well.

How so? What does that do for me the 7q doesn't already do? Isn't that just an SDI LUT box? I used my bmva to record the lutted hd signal from my 7q once but I shouldn't have to and it's not frame accurate or good for off speed framerates.
 
Wow, the new noise reduction function on Focus Assist is great. Really cleans things up on low contrast images. Well done!!
 
A little sad that Slog3 and it's color aren't included in this update for the Fs5 but not a deal breaker. Any rough estimate on when that will be released?
