"A Verse Before Dying" - AF-100 Western Short

Great idea! Thanks Stephen, Timur and crew. We will all
Copycat your lighting-setup amd it will go into filmhistory as the "Borderland-Setup"

I asked our DP, Timur Civan, to sketch out our major lighting setups used throughout the film. He graciously agreed, and I'll be posting those over the next few days, along with frame grabs to show the results. Personally, I know being able to see how lights and lighting tools were combined and placed is a great help in understanding just how a look was crafted. So I hope you guys get as much out of this information as I did having been on set and seen it.

That's what I'm talkin' about, dawg! That's totally awesome! Exactly what we need to better evaluate this camera... now if only we had a complete time-code synced list of lenses used and camera settings all along :) :) :)

What a great idea! I would be grateful to see those. Thanks.

Um…yeah…we have that too. :D

We will most certainly share the lenses used on each shot. The camera settings will likely not be fully disclosed, though we will share some of those details as well.

Unbelieavably cool!!!!

seriously, guys. Thanks for the patience. I'm sure you all understand just how crucial it is to make this as perfect as it can be for public consumption.

And because you're all being so cool about this, i'll let you in on something else…

As with the JFK assassination, the Moon landing, the Space Shuttle Challenger explosion, and 9-11... we will all remember exactly where we were today as we witnessed for the first time the trailer to A Verse Before Dying.

Okay. We're ready. Let us have it.

Not in the trailer, but it will make an appearance in the film. :D

I didn't want to give too much away in the trailer, so keep that in mind as you watch it (eventually).

To throw the spaghetti. That's why they where called "spaghetti western". don't you know, really?

Absolutely, the same way the term "carpet bombing" originated from the warriors of the Ottoman Empire throwing out Oriental rugs onto their hapless enemies.

Can't wait for the trailer, and the BTS/diagrams/any other scraps of info thrown our way :D

aah man The wife is insisting I show up for the family dinner !
Here's hoping you guys dont post a thing for the next 4 hours :)
