30MB/s SD card for 60D - too slow for video?

I have a 30MB/s SD card for 60D, is that too slow for shooting video? Do I need 60MB/s minimum? Please advise :)

Class 4? I have used a class 4 in a pinch when my other card filled up, but Canon recommends a class 6 or higher for video. I use class 10. They're more expensive, but it's worth the cost for ensuring that all the data makes it to the card.

I bought class six cards for my T2i - but every card I have works fine in the thing, down to older class 2. All name-brand, Sandisk, etc, no junk. And no problems.

That card is one of the best and fastest you can get right now, so it will be more than fast enough. I have found the sandisk class 6 cards to test as fast as other companies class 10 cards, so I am assuming (although I haven't tested yet) the sandisk class 10 will be faster than you will ever need, unless you are planning to do long bursts of RAW photo's, in which case, I don't know if there are any cards right now that will write fast enough to keep you from overrunning the buffer after about 10 shots (although that one might).

30mb/s should be fine. I use the cheaper Sandisk Ultra (30mbs) on my 7D and I have NEVER had a buffer error. The Kingston cards are another story. Buffer errors all the time. Sandisks work great though. I heard somewhere that the old Extreme 3's are now the Ultras. Is there any truth to that?

Yep, as others say, this is a great card. If you're having problems you need to do some troubleshooting to figure what the problem is (which includes having a bad card).
