    SOLD Rode NTG-3 Shotgun Microphone - $450

I'm selling my Rode NTG-3 shotgun mic. It's a great mic that's in excellent condition. Work perfectly. Comes with protector and carrying case. I've had this mic for around three years, but I haven't used it in over a year. Truth be told I didn't use it all that much to begin with, as I shot...

    Letters and words going crazy!

This is a cool video. I love how the lyrics are all over the place in the background. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qz6myHed3Fg In After Affects there are presets for words to fly in and out and do all sorts of stuff. I figure I could probably achieve the effect using the default presets. Is...

Rap video from Chicago *WARNING* This video is HARDCORE hood.

This video was wholly shot using the AF100. It's a pretty hardcore song and the group wanted a hardcore video to reflect it. All comments welcomed. Kali

R&B music video shot in Chicago

Overall this was a good experience. I only had one other guy to help me out and the artist's cousin was rushing us out of her apartment. So, it was good that I knew the shots I wanted. It took about 3 hours to shoot everything in the apartment. Once we got out of the apartment, the shoot went...

    Adjusting the ISO?

How do I adjust the ISO? Right now, the only way I know how, is to assign an ISO to the three gain presets. Is there a way to manually adjust ISO on the fly? Thanks fellas. Kali

Anybody use Solid State Drive (SSD) with CS5?

I'm currently building my new computer. I was thinking about grabbing a couple of SSDs in a RAID 0 to use as my OS drive. Good or bad idea? Gamers seem to love these things. My plan is to use two 80GB SSDs as my OS drive. And two 1.5TB HDs in a RAID 0 for my media and project files. Any feedback...

    Make voices sound more distant

Here's the deal. I shot a scene where two people are walking toward the camera. There are a few lines of dialogue. I shot the scene with a canon T2i with the lens at 200mm. I recorded the dialogue later with my zoom H4n & Rode NTG-3 mic. Any suggestions on how I can kinda push the audio "back"?

    Rode NT55 for interior dialogue

I recently purchased a Rode NTG-3 shotgun mic. I watched the rode university videos, which recommended the Rode NT55 for interior dialogue recording. Is this a good recommendation?

I shot this in a basement. Lit by one light bulb. Canon T2i. Nikon A.I 50mm 1.8 wide open. ISO at 400. Sound recorded on my zoom H4n and some cheap condenser mic. This image is straight out of the camera. No adjustments. The poet's name is Ret2Go. 14766449

    Futuristic / Ghostbustes type rifle

I'm looking for a futuristic type of rifle. Similar to the ghostbusters, sans photon backpack. I would prefer that it doesn't look all that militaristic. Could someone out their point me in the right directions? Kali

I'm going to be shooting a micro-budget feature film. My script is pretty close to being ready, so I want to get a jump on branding myself, my production company, and the upcoming film. Best setting for color correcting - T2i

Is there a picture setting that gives a flat low contrast, low saturated image for grading? The image would be in a controlled setting where I can control exposure. I'm trying to figure out how to get the most latitude in a shot for color correction. I see the T2i comes with some picture styles...

Shooting wide open on fast lenses??

I'm trying to get a handle on the technical side of shooting. I've ordered my Rebel T2i. Since I'm on a limited budget, I'm planing to get the Canon EF 1.8/50mm (niffty 50, great term), and some old Nikkor AI primes. There are some really fast primes(f1.2 & f1.4) that I'm looking at. Shooting...
