Pulled this off the HDEXPO site.
Now if we could just get one of these for the HVX.

I know that the 35mm adapters make your image softer. So when you go to film that add its on softness to the image so your doubling it in a way.
So for a filmout would it be better to use Barry's invention the Softscreen (with the Panny 16.9 adapter) vs. mini35, micro35, so on and so on...
I must have written this post at least ten times.
But all I can say is this.
In ten years people who are complaining about the HVX price and workflow will be laughing at all the people complaining about Panasonic’s New Super Duper 35mm sensor HD camera (that takes 35mm film lens) for...
Steven,
Have you given any more thought to teaching a cinematography course using the DVX?
Looking to start doing my own DP work again. Which I haven't done in a long time. But now days to get things done you have to pull a Robert Rodriguez.
So just wondering once again have you given it much...
Wasn't sure if to post this here or in marketplace.
Thought I'd pass on this information.
I purchased a new DVX on Friday from Rush, great guy, great service.
So my new camera is suppose to arrive on Wednesday.

Fellow DVXUSERS, I'm working with the festival.
It's in it's third year. It's being held in Springfield, MO.
Dates will be October 7th the 9th.
We have a film alliance that is getting more attention than groups from Kansas City and St. Louis.

If I missed this sorry about a repeat.
I was wondering if someone could find out if someone will make updates to our follow focus units, matte boxs, etc. so that we could carry them over from our DVX's to the HVX's.
I know the camera has a larger lens, etc.
Since there are no moving parts except for the lens.
I was wondering how long should the camera last?
I know everything is judged by hours on non P2 cameras.
It doesn’t record native 24p to tape. Uses the pull down like the DVX.

They put their video on sale and probably didn't catch that they are selling the XL2. This won't last long so be quick.
The guy who posted this said he ordered it. Last week got a canon Digital...
Thought I'd pass it on.

Not sure if this is place for this.
The Sony site has gone to the wackos. Guys who love fighting just for the sake of fighting.
I'm glad this site maintains its balance. I don't always agree with everything but over all it has useful information that is passed on.
Yes, some times we guess...
I just checked EVS an a PANASONIC AJ-HP23L tape costs $32.25 if you buy one and $30.96 if you buy more than ten.
That tape holds 23 minutes of HD recording.
My guess on average I'd use at least 3 tapes per job.
So that comes to give or take a few cents a $103 bucks with tax.
So if a card...
