I have an original Audio Technica 835 shotgun microphone for sale. It is a battery only operated shotgun microphone. This mic has been used and the finish shows signs of use, but it works perfectly fine and sounds good. It is a medium/long barrel shotgun microphone (if you are using it for on...

A friend linked me this... Great article. Hey this is for you CSI watchers. Not even Law and Order would attempt to capture this mess... what an unbelievable twist of fate!!! Truth is stranger than fiction. At the 1994 annual awards dinner given for Forensic Science, AFS President Dr. Don...

Hey everyone. Well whatever could go wrong on this project did go wrong. We lost actors, locations, and we pretty much rewrote the entire script on the spot each time we got a chance to shoot. I've already gone through and ripped this project apart, but please feel free to jump on the bang...

This made me lose it... Hopefully you'll enjoy: http://www.break.com/top_rated/mimesong.html

Well some people here won't appreciate this at all, but today, February 15th is the date that pitchers and catchers report, officially marking the beginning of the 2006 baseball season. This should be a national holiday! -Jeremy

OK, I have searched and there are not really any head to head comparisons. If it was your money what would you buy: Letus 35a (Price $500) Wayne Kinney's SG35 (Price $500 after shipping) RedRockMicro M2 (Price $1000) I'm just really confused and have spent more hours than I want to admit to...

I got Xm about 6 months ago and have become a huge fan of it. It is just incredible, I get my baseball talk, good music stations, and when I travel I never have to search for anything. I was just wondering if many people around here have it, either XM or Serius and what they think about it.

Well I found this link and it looks like it is better than the infamous $14 steadycam (which I built in the past before I bought a Glidecam 4000)... I thought some DIY people could get a kick out of this for their uses... http://www.bealecorner.com/trv900/steady/steady.html

Tonight I watched Kill Bill (vol. 1) for the first time in about a year. This movie has got to be considered one of the most absorbing films. From the moment it starts all the way up through the end it grabs onto you and doesn't let go. I forgot how brilliant it is, but this is almost...

So I'm sitting here playing spider solitaire (because it's more addictive than crack) listening to music and was wondering... If you could license one song for a project what would it be? For me, I'm going with Crosby, Still, & Nash's Southern Cross. All my father listened to while I was...

Last night after watching the Panthers get completely destroyed I wanted something to laugh about. After spending some time going through my DVDs and finding nothing that I thought would make me laugh I decided to watch Clerks again for the first time in a year, maybe two or three. Something...

I was just wondering if any DVXUsers would want to get together and do a fantasy baseball league? Could be fun and we're just 27 days from pitchers & catchers reporting...

OK, so I was thinking about this with all the wireless threads going on right now. We all accept the G2 as the benchmark for quality wireless. The question I ask is this, Bluetooth. It has a range of 90' and great quality. Now, when you take into account the fact that Bluetooth also is...

So last night I was bumming around Vasst and finally ordered the Vasst Vegas 5 Fasst DVD (there's always more to learn, right?), and I was looking at Ultimate S. I know that there are all of these plug-ins, but I was wondering, from people who use it, if it is a recommended product. I know...

While not trying to directly rip off AFI's Top 100 movie line list, last night a few friends and I were playing a game to see who could last the longest in naming classic lines from a movie, with the stipulation being that this one line had to completely reveal the movie it was coming from. Just...

So tonight I wanted to play with this little 20 second clip and start to play with it and see what I could do to it using Misfire, part of the MB Editor Suite. My render on a 20 second clip has been going on for a little over four hours, and still has an hour left on it. The problem with...

For sale right now I have an old mac G3 350mghz blue and white tower PC. It has a lot of audio software and MS Office already loaded. I think I have photoshop for it laying around here somewhere. If you're interested make an offer, it has just been sitting there doing nothing. I do know that...

One really simple question before I buy this thing today (was going to purchase yesterday, but some things came up and B&H pissed me off and EVS was out of stock). To people who have owned or used this thing, how hard is this thing to balance? Thanks for any feedback. -Jeremy

We all have these movies that we love and they are just bad films. We can defend them until we are blue in the face, but these are just bad films. I'm curious what everyone's favorite bad films are. My top five: 1. The Doom Generation 2. Team America 3. Basketball 4. Starship Troopers 5...

For the last hour I have been searching the Vasst site and playing in Vegas trying to come up with titles that are reminiscent of the titles in Se7en. I have tried applying the Vegas Quake Script, cutting in and out or the text, using flash effect, but whatever I do it just looks cheesy. I was...
