Just got back from the theater. If this movie doesn't make you wanna cry, something is severely wrong with you. I consider my heartstrings tugged, and then some. It's not at all like what it is marketed as, which would be a Lion, Witch, Wardrobe knockoff. I cannot recommend this movie highly...
Russian made Krasnogorsk 3. It's the standard package: camera, lens, filters, sunshade, shoulder rig, handle, and case. Will include some film for you to practice loading. I paid $375 for this. Offers?
EDIT: Pics are huge, sorry.
This one keeps uploading sideways, not sure why, sorry.
a. Can you capture and edit 24p and/or 24pA in this NLE? The intended output is web and DVD, not a filmout.
b. Have you personally done this or personally seen this done before?
Thanks.
Cool guy, wouldn't you say?
I got to work on a doc about his life. Here's the thread:

My question is, do you think he deserves the title of "The King of the Kiddie Matinee"?
Hey guys. I got the opportunity to help out on a documentary featuring the life of this revered, but somewhat obscure filmmaker.
Here's the official site: www.kgordonmurray.com
Here are some production stills if you are interested:

I finally got to shoot some stuff with the HVX this past weekend! I was helping a producer friend of mine on a documentary. Just went, thinking I was gonna be a grip or something (which I was), but before long I'm holding the camera in my hands being a babysitter, so I was like "whoa, cool!" I...
I have a little rant. Why is it when people talk about color grading, they almost always say "color correcting" or "CC"? Color correction is when you shoot with the wrong white balance settings or, if you shoot film, shoot tungsten outdoors or daylight indoors. These are times when colors need...
I just realized that the movie tube is a static design, yet it is the most expensive adapter out there! Did anyone else know it was static? Sorry if this topic has come up before.
I wanted to get y'all's opinion on this too. The DIY forum doesn't get nearly as much traffic as here.

Thanks in advance.
Hey guys,
I am in the process of designing a 35mm adapter, similar to Quyen's. However, the flipping unit will not lose as much light as Quyen's. I will be using a roof prism instead of a pentamirror, which I believe is the reason for the excessive light loss. Also, I plan to use a zero-grain...
Has anyone tried modifying a cheap SLR camera into a 35mm adapter? It seems like the only two things really needed would be to replace the focusing screen with something brighter / matte and to modify the viewfinder so that the attached video camera would be able to see the whole viewing area...
Hey Guys,
I just finished a trailer for a local Church's Passion Play. Tell me what you think. The titles are kinda hard to read because I don't know much about compression and had to deal with iMovie's general crappiness. Its not DVX footage but its a camera made by JVC that has a cinema gamma...
I read somewhere on here that you can't stop down a canon fd lens when mounted on the Letus Flip adapter, which is one of the only two lens mounts for the adapter. The other mounting option is Nikon AI. My question is: can you stop it down when mounted on the adapter? I know you can with Nikon...
