Anyone here using a metabones speedbooster “S” version with their GH5 / GH5S? I was about to rent a GH5S for a week to see if I’d like to upgrade but am worried the “S” version might not be compatible (not being sold anymore by metabones).

anyone know if theres a noticeable improvement in dynamic range between the gh5s and gh4? I cant find any videos where the two cameras are compared. Aside from V-Log L, I’m curious if theres more DR in other profiles like cineD between the two cameras.

Just wanted to share a setup I use when I need a monitor but am lazy to setup my 7" aputure vs2 fineHD. I bought a joby griptight pro for $30, and mount my iPhone 6s Plus with scopes app ($20). Works pretty well for framing/focus.

Aputure released full HD resolution monitors for cheap. VS-1 for $200 with limited features, and the VS-2 for $279 with more stuff like focus peaking, zebras, etc. my question is, If I was to buy the VS-1, would the focus assist tools from the GH4 show up onto the monitor once connected via HDMI?
