there has got be a simple way to make credits so I can copy and paste a document into final cut with out spending hours getting it right? any suggestions or tips?

So here's my situation; 24p footage in 29.97 time line when I drag clips into the time line, I have to render them oddly then I have jittery playback but when I export as a quicktime movie and watch them with quicktime there is no jitter. Any help is appreciated, Derek
