Hey everyone,
Was wondering if there's a way to underline part of the text in a text object created in FCP? I have the sentence, "Communication isn't his strongsuit," and I want to underline the "his" section of the word for emphasis. Any ideas? There's gotta be a way to do this in FCP...
Hey guys and gals,
Does anyone here know how to make a frame in FCP look like it's being viewed through a telescope? I'm doing a parody of a silent film, and a character is looking through a telescope behind some bushes. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hey everyone,
Had a quick question regarding what you all thing I should to do emulate the film stock used in silent films. I've downloaded the CGM AGED FILM LE plug-in for FCP already and it works great. I also heard there's a plug-in that can be used to randomly affect the speed of the...
Hey Guys and Gals,
It's my understanding that a number of professionals visit this site and use it quite regularly--so I hope this question isn't out of line: I was wondering if anyone here is working on the new Indiana Jones film. I've been trying for months to get on it as a PA or intern...
Hey guys and gals,
Had a question about rotoscoping and color correction. I just got back from watching 300 directed by Zack Snyder (which I recommend), and it appeared that they not only keyed out backgrounds and replace them, but also rotoscoped in color correcting. Is it possible to take a...
Does anyone know if it's possible to set multiple in and out points on the same clip? Right now, I'm only able to set one in and one out point per clip. If I want to use sections to the same clip, FCP forces me to drag it to the time-line and edit it there. Any solution?

Hey guys and gals,
Does anyone know of a quick way (or just a way in general) to flip a shot in Final Cut Pro? Any help would be much appreciated!

This is going to sound really puerile, but does anyone have a collection of different "fart" noises they would mind sending my way or letting me download? Need them for a school project and would REALLY appreciate it if someone could help me out. Thanks guys and gals!

Hey Guys and Gals,
I'm thinking about taking the plundge and purchasing a Letus 35mm adapter for my DVX100A. The only thing that's holding me back is the fact that the image is flipped during filming as a result of using the adapter. Does anyone know of a cost effective solution to this? Is...
Hey guys and gals,
Shot several shorts on a DVX100A and have been using FCP to edit them. It came time to export them to a DVD and I've been having a few problems. I'm using iDVD to publish and for some reason I can't figure out how to export the files in the highest quality. I keep getting...

Hey,
I know there's a tutorial around here somewhere for this, I just can't seem to find it. I want to make blood be the only color that shows up in a black and white project I did. What is the most effecient way of achieving this? Any help would be MUCH appreciated! Thanks.

Could someone give me a really quick breakdown of how to create a shot in which the same actor plays two characters. I had the actor stand in the correct place and his eye line is good in each shot, but when I split the frame, Premiere makes me adjust the opacity to see both takes of the actor...
Hey Guys and Gals,
Not sure that this is the right place for this, but here goes. I'm shooting a short for school over the next week or so (it's due November 8th) and it requires a couple of simple (I hope) SFX.
There are two SFX shots. One involves a guy throwing a piece of paper into the...
