So i have a 720p movie that was shot in DVCPRO HD, i have it in FCP right now ready to go. I need to export it to a tiff sequence so we can bring it into our Avid at school and export it to the correct decks. The project is 960x720, not 1280x720, thats a weird FCP thing i've never understood...
If i shot on a Varicam with DVCPRO HD tapes is the "Dvcprohd" compression in FCP actually compression? I have two sequences of the same thing, one with DVCPROHD and one with NO compression. The DVCPROHD one actually looks better than the NO compression one...... ??
I have Digital Film Tools installed in Final Cut Pro. I have a serial key. I apply an effect to a clip, i click on OPTIONS and nothing happens it won't bring up a registration window or anything. How can i register it?
ok, so i'm putting together my system and am trying to figure out how I want to go about handling color correction. Now I can't afford a true NTSC monitor so I know it won't be TRUE color correction, but something is better than nothing right?
okay, so I am trying to figure out if a LCD...
So we have an essential clip for our documentary and in the IMPORT P2 window in FCP it plays perfectly, however, when we import it, it imports at 10fps! This was shot on HVX 720p60. We can't figure out how to fix it, what do we do?:violin:
okay, so my DP needs to color correct some scenes from our movie quickly. He's going to do it in FCP, we've edited it in AVID SYMPHONY NITRIS. He wants the scenes as files. What is the best way to export the scenes digitally, bring them into FCP, and have absolutely no compression whatsoever...
so im looking into getting a REAL setup for my editing. thinking the ol' mac pro, FCP, etc. etc. now here's the question. I've been hearing through the grapevine that a mac with FCP will NOT export a full res HD file without the use of a "black magic" card. i can believe this, because when I...
okay, so normally when you drag a clip into a timeline the video and the audio is connected and when you move one it moves the other. well i screwed something up, and now, no matter what, audio is always seperate from video. audio is even seperarte from other audio tracks! what setting do i...
as mentioned in my other post, we are trying to export an uncompressed HD of our P2 footage. we are attempting to export a tiff sequence now. well i was under the impression that 720p meant 1280x720, FCP says the footage is 960x720 and thats what i have to make my sequence at for it to play...
Hey all, we shot HVX200 DVCPROHD 720pn to P2. We brought it in correctly into FCP, etc. etc.
Now here's the question:
Our D.P. - Jason Osterday, needs the full res video so he can take it over to his computer to do color correction. WELL, i went to EXPORT, QUICKTIME MOVIE, CURRENT SETTINGS...
