Hey all, we shot HVX200 DVCPROHD 720pn to P2. We brought it in correctly into FCP, etc. etc.
Now here's the question:
Our D.P. - Jason Osterday, needs the full res video so he can take it over to his computer to do color correction. WELL, i went to EXPORT, QUICKTIME MOVIE, CURRENT SETTINGS, and MAKE MOVIE SELF CONTAINED. So this should be the fullest res right? Well the vid exported to be about 1.5 gigs (movie is 4 mins and 30 secs). This seems small to me for HD. I have shot on the Varicam and imported DVCPRO HD footage before and exported an HD vid that was about a minute and took up 6 gigs! It was also 720p.
So this new vid that we exported (the 1.5 gig one) doesn't look right. Its the correct size, but the colors look duller and we can see some pixelization, running, etc.
So! please help, how do we correctly export this video? Thanks so much!
