"The Accidental Hitman" A Pauly The Hitman Production

Pauly I have no words to describe your sheer awesomeness with 4 films. So i'm just going to go back to sleep now and quit my whining. You're a freaking powerhouse.

Hey Pauly! Thanks for watching :) Yours was my first as well!

Some really good stuff in here. Had to laugh quite a few times. :D

Too sad you couldn't finish on time. With a score and better sound design this would've kicked alot more ass!

Oh were you not able to finish? That clears a lot up for me... I was very confused by the ending... and the sound kept throwing me off.
But yeah, there is definitely some really funny stuff in there. Tom's got good comedic timing.
Let us know when it's finished, I'd love to check it out when it's in proper form!

Hey, Pauly. Very funny concept and story here. I thought you had some really good shots in here. I liked the shot where the guy picked up the bowling ball (cool) and I liked some of the angles you had at the house at the end.

You could probably work on the audio (I'm no genius) more. Some of the shots you could tell foley was added and it didn't sound natural or seem to match, like when they deliver the briefcase the first time and slaps it and shuts it. I don't know, but that didn't sould right. In the bowling alley it seemed that everytime the camera angle changed the audio changed. Naturally that will happen anyway, but if you place a background ambience, whether it be people talking in the background or the bowling sounds (you already had in there), just run that audio under the clips to where there is no gap and if you have to put the audio clips together, because you have to repeat foley you could add a transition filter so that the change in audio will not seem so harsh. I hope that makes sense - I could just be a dumb-azz.

Anyway, I enjoyed it, but just wanted to add my 2 cents (hope it helps) and I know you made more than one film, so I give you all the credit in the world.

Thanks man actually the sound of the briefcase was some of the only real sound I had that was used. Most of the other sounds are all foley and cranked up audio. I had to pull apart the dialog and try and fix it all in post and should have just had everyone redo the lines and add it ADR.

This was actually the first time I had to do everything myself and I almost didn't get it done. We spread ourselves so thin with everyone doing there own movies and working on 2-3 others also. I couldn't ask the guys to work there magic on mine and leave theirs high and dry so I did the best I could.

Take into acount this is my real first editing and sound job ever and I really would have loved for it to come out better, I almost didn't submit it because it wasn't really how I wanted it to come out. But all and all I appriciate the input.

HA HA!

Very entertaining! The first HIT really got me. I LOL'ed from then on. Yes, you had some audio issues, but the story kept me with it, and the acting was fun and natural.

I liked your "ball shot" and that it was integrated into the story.
I wish I could have his job.

Great work!

really entertaining! loved the second hit, death by bowling ball, where he's like "oh f*ck". very funny. Really looking forward to the final mix.

Hey Pauly The hitman.

what a great concept for a shot. I loved the premise. the bowling ball moment was great and we all laughed at his facial expression when he ran the first guy over. Yes there were technical issues but it was still a lot of fun regardless.

I thought thug #2's acting was terrible, ruined the whole movie for me. HaHa. Good job on it Pauly. It was fun, glad to be part of it.

Pauly ... you're one funny s.o.b.

Audio was the main problem and there was other technical issues, due to the fact that you couldnt finish, but push that aside for a great story and it doesnt hurt that this is down right hilarious.

His face is priceless in that ... "well ****" look after running the guy over and the bowling ball scene had me in pain. Great work.

Too funny for its own good, might have to be "accidentally" taken out.

I'm surprised at how little time 6 minutes really is. I think you sould make a Director's Cut when you have the time.

I'm totally available to add some commentary. HA!

For some reason I hear myself sounding a bit like Cliff Clavin. Don't know why, I didn't mean to, but I just do.

I'm really looking forward to the next fest to do it again.

Very funny stuff.

SPOILER

That bowling ball to the head was the funniest thing I've ever seen on dvxuser. I rewatched it numerous times, and it got funnier each time. Guess this says something about my maturity level. :)

I also thought the premise was very good, and Tom did a great job acting. Look forward to your next film!

Pauly... really liked the film, great job! Tom's acting worked well here and I felt he really captured the 'bumbling fool, stepped in it" feel. (or maybe it just comes natural? LOL!!)
The audio needs work & I know you're aware of that. Most of the camera work is good, but there were a few quick little zoom-outs that didn't work so well for me. Loved the opening titles and the music was a great choice. Good concept & story. Oh... and the Easter Eggs in the newspaper at the end... very nice touch!

If only Tom's character could pick some lottery numbers for me! Really good job on the film. It was an enjoyable ride! Keep'em coming.
