He's my lover, and we just shared a large bowl full of dicks for a midday snack while he stroked my t2i........nawwwwwwwww,,,,, lol Im just kiddin, but I was thinking the exact same thing, What could possibly be in his tutorials that hasn't been discussed here. His work looks decent, but god damn, could he be any more arrogant.

I thought it was funny when he said " I have 1,000 subscribers, as if thats alot. There's people that get a 1,000 subs a day, that dont ask for your money. I get the whole kick start thing, but if people want to donate they will. This is borderline begging.

People should not be pissed, you arnt harmed in any way if this joker isnt telling the truth, and you shouldn't listen to rumors about magical software that comes out of the blue. 1 point loss of respect for Bloom on this (don't worry he has like a bazillion levels of respect left) because he helped hype it up with his blog.

Honestly....if I had done this, (I have morals...no way would I do this but), I would be scared for the next 3-5 years. Maybe I'm just paranoid....but....this is messing with people's "inner hopes and dreams". There are some "wack-os" out there...and this has pissed some people off. I dunno...maybe not...maybe no-one cares except for the several people I've chatted with over the past 2 days. Anywho....

really guys - don´t take it so seriously, even if it´s a scam - there are far far worse things going on in this life that you should really get pissed off about , and then make a documentary because that´s what this is about anyway ....and whoever said this is lowering the respect level of pbloom needs a level adjustment as well - you don´t shoot the messenger - ever heard of that saying ? really if this is ALL you´ve had going for the last 36 hours , then get out and do something worthwhile - the internet is always about enjoyment -when it starts to upset you then YOU´VE got the problem ! chill
 
Even if it is true...6 seconds of footage. How useful is that going to be, and just what would happen to your sensor after repeated use? Even the very well implemented GH1(3) hack caused people trouble....this ...I would NEVER trust even if true.

E-mail (remember when we used to have to pay for accts?)

I'm not disagreeing with you BTW....but we're so deep in transition right now that I don't believe that any of us has really "come down to earth" with everything we shoot on a daily basis. Just 3 years ago....we all would have freaked out to see something like this: http://vimeo.com/18339851 Nothing like shooting at F0.95 and ISO3200 (and usable for many), huh? That sounds like a pipe dream for sure!! And yet there it is. I've got one for you: Just imagine someone could hack the GH1 to fix almost all of it's problems and make it shoot more than 5 times it's current data rate...and the software were FREE! That sounds like a pipe dream for sure! Or how about a 1080P consumer cam that shoots native 60P, for less than 1K. That's TOTAL non-sense right? (enter TM700 here). Heck...the T2i OUT OF THE BOX...is it's own little miracle...not to mention what it does with the Magic Lantern hack (for less than 700usd). How about this pipe dream: A full fledged video camera....with a sensor the size of 35mm perf, that shoots 3200 iso clear, that has interchangeable lenses for less than 5Kusd? That's just plain old SILLY!!! (AF100) Have you seen the new JVC specs? Consumer cam that shoots 4K. (We don't know much else...but still, ....4K consumer?....IMPOSSIBLE...yet here we are)

So....how far off is it REALLY to shoot 4K....for 6 seconds....on a T2i? (for free?) I'm NOT SAYING that it will happen....I am saying that many (if not all) of us are still disoriented about what IS REALLY POSSIBLE today. Is this possible....from these jokers?....I (me) I don't think so....IS IT POSSIBLE (at all)? Linux - I said a lot meaning a lot of good, not headache
Wordpress - Pay if you want the full experience ie hosting
GH13 hack - I'm sure people gave money
Android - Then windows is free, because it came with my computer
Chrome OS - Like we need another
E-mail (remember when we used to have to pay for accts?) - Add supported, so you do pay
PHP - writing in a language is always free, see English
Apache - buggy
Mambo - never heard of it so cant comment

The T2i and GH2 are not fre out of the box, you paid for that box, so your not getting something for nothing

Magic lantern and GH13 hack ARE FREE. This would have been EXACTLY the same situation.
 
If this is all true... why the hell would somebody turn down a $650k offer from Canon? That's the most stupid and sketchy sounding part of this whole thing.
